Although it’s easy to see the benefits of forging work relationships, there are a number of factors that can get in the way. Some people find it difficult to be sociable alongside the day job, whether due to their personality type or previous experiences.
Now that everyone is back at school and work, I’m noting a real ‘new pencil case’ vibe, with people keen to set goals for the final quarter and prepare for the year ahead.
It rears its head when we believe we haven’t legitimately achieved the position we’re in, that we don’t belong and that someday, someone will find us out and show us the door.
